I have been a music educator since 1993, when I started teaching at the Taller De Músics in Barcelona after I had just graduated. Over 20 years after, I still have a strong passion for teaching (also a lot more experience!) and I enjoy it a lot. Teaching is a great learning experience for me, I feel fortunate to have learned a whole lot from my students.
I’m currently a faculty member at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City, where I teach double bass, ear training, theory and music technology classes. I teach a number of workshops and master classes around the world through the year as well.
I also teach privately at my home studio in Brooklyn, and am now offering Skype lessons. At home I generally teach bass lessons, composition and arranging and music technology. I have had over 500 private students over the years.
If you’re interested in studying with me privately or via skype, or in hiring me for a workshop or master class, don’t hesitate to contact me here.
