Hi, I’m Alexis Cuadrado, a composer and producer based in Brooklyn, NY.
My background of decades performing, recording and producing with with artists such as Angélique Kidjo, Jon Batiste, Youssou N’Dour, Dianne Reeves, Omara Portuondo, Kenny Barron, Chano Domínguez or Regina Carter deeply informs how I craft music for media.
In the age of AI, my priority is to make music that sounds deeply human. Music that matches the soul of the brief. I am lucky to have a vast personal network of top-notch musicians in NYC. I’m passionate about find the right fit and vibe for the job. I love organizing the session, arranging the music and making an outstanding bespoke track for each occasion.
My studio, The Plaza Roja (Accredited for Dolby Atmos and Apple Digital Masters) is at the cutting edge of music production, offering conventional and immersive tracking, mixing and mastering. I’m equally comfortable in the production room with one musician and the massive sound stage with a 50 piece orchestra.
When I write for sync, I focus on creating tracks that are clear, editable, and built for storytelling. Everything I deliver is sync-ready, stem-ready, and recorded with real instruments for authenticity and depth.
My goal is to make forward-looking, globally aware compositions that blur the lines between acoustic and electronic, artful and accessible.
